Amateur Radio (Ham Radio) is a popular hobby and service in which licensed Amateur Radio operators (hams) operate communications equipment

Ham radio is a multi-faceted hobby to say the least. I have enjoyed radio since childhood listening to short wave broadcasts with my grandfather back in the 50's.

My interests grew and as I was able to gain the knowledge for the license requirements and I began to collect the needed equipment to setup a station.
